Two Times the FITE: Expanding the Feral Family
This is one of those bullshit personal posts I never usually do, but the fact of the matter is that life has gotten exceptionally busy lately. Some dentist dude apparently thinks I’m too much of a smart ass and has promptly scheduled the removal of my “wisdom” teeth this month. At work, the midwinter slump has worn off and there’s a plethora of new material coming in every day that demands diligent attention paid to deadlines. There’s also that whole “wedding” jawn demanding more and more of my time as the date inches closer. If I didn’t like a party so much, I probably would have eloped. Can you believe that people actually think they’re getting invitations?Â
Lycentia and I also decided that we’d save a coworker’s kitten from animal control and bring her home to hang out with Luciren, and the whole integration started last night. Needless to say, the atmosphere in the apartment has been a little tense, and I’ve been up since four a.m. trying to cajole howling cats into relaxing. As sweet as she is, though, I think this new cat specced for Bear by accident. She’s a total fatass and has a tendency to cram herself into corners (presumably for better Swipe positioning). She also still needs a name.
But rest assured that I’m still playing and am still keeping up on the latest day-to-day Blizzard minutiae. I’m interested in seeing how the supposed “Bear Block” plays out (as it has an amazing potential to be ridiculously overpowered), and since I’ve been DPSing rather successfully lately, I’ll probably be posting a dissection of my rotation. In the near future, I’ll also be redoing my dated blogroll.

Good luck with the wedding. I hope it turns out well. We had ours about six months ago and we are very happy we kept things small and simple. It was a little disorganized and off the cuff, but it turned out great. I love having a raid-partner-for-life.
On another note, I think the cat across the street somehow specced gorilla. He’s huge and has more in common with an ape than a feline.

Grats on getting married! It’s hard, but try to enjoy it, it’ll be a while before people are willing to pay that much attention to you again!
Good luck with the wedding planning stuff, am doing the same at the moment (6 months to go).
If you haven’t sorted out invites yet – we got the majority of the invite done by getting postcards printed – cost about $25 (I think that’s how much it converts to).
Did it online, sent them a file and they sent the cards – very cheap and easy (and looks awesome).

Don’t worry about the cats, some friends of ours did just what you’re doing a year ago, and when they met they hated each other. A few months later they’re going to sleep with their heads on each other’s bellies & stuff.
